Fathers day

Wow has it been a long time since I last posted here! I can't believe how life gets away from us and what we once were so dedicated to falls by the wayside.  My life has changed in so many ways since September 2015.  But one thing that hasn't changed is my love for crafting.  Sadly as time gets more precious I can do less but thought I would post some of my latest here and maybe enter a few challenges:)

Even though life changes I am still doing a monthly challenge (most of the time) with a group of friends using CTMH products. I have used the stamp/die set from Jack cardmaking, paper is from Beautiful Friendship... Long time no see

Well I am still around.  It has been a long time since I posted though. Thought it was probably time. I just did a layout for my sister (shh... it will be part of a birthday gift)

I used Paper Cutting World's Cat in the Hat SVG set The paper is Typeset from Close to my Heart (retired) I also stamped a Dr. Seuss saying from CTMH CC1025 You are my happy stamp set I would like to enter this layout in the following challenges... The Reward...

Things are so very different now.  I am creating because I feel like creating not because I have a project due.  It is a wonderful feeling.  I have to say my Mojo has still perhaps taken a bit of a vacation but will hopefully recover soon. As I was looking through some challenge blog I came across one with this photo for inspiration

I put together this masculine card using a bunch of different mediums for texture. Paper is Tim Holtz and DCWV. Dies are Yvonnes & Cheery Lane. Metal placard is Tim Holtz. I have a little sad news this morning. This will be my last project with Artistic Inspirations.

I have enjoyed my time as a DT member and an owner but all good things must come to an end and I have found my life to busy to continue owning the blog. Tonnie has graciously consented to continue Artistic Inspirations so you will still be able to enjoy the challenge with some great sponsors.
